In 1991, two basketball coaches in Pella, Iowa first imagined the benefits of height adjustable, regulation-size basketball hoops. Their vision became a reality when they paired with welding master Dale Brand, co-owner of Co-Line Welding, Inc., a metal fabrication company based in Iowa.
After 12 prototypes by the coaches in a shop in Pella, IA, Dale stepped in and worked around the clock to create hoop number 13. You might know it as the MVP Signature Series hoop. And since that time, every Goalsetter hoop has been produced at the Co-Line state-of-the-art factory in rural Sully, IA.
In 2006, Co-Line Welding Inc. purchased Goalsetter to guarantee that 100% of the manufacturing for Goalsetter hoops stayed within in the United States. In 2015, Sporting Goods powerhouse, Escalade Sports bought Goalsetter Systems but the hoops are still manufactured by the company you know: Co-Line Welding.
The Co-Line Edge
Outstanding quality control.
The manufacturing quality standards of Co-Line are unmatched by any competitor.
Customer service, right from the source.
Our basketball systems are sold around the world, but they are still made near the original welding shop where the first prototype was built. Your questions will be answered by customer service representatives who are only steps away from the shop floor and the people that cut, weld, paint, and assemble the hoop systems.
